A Side by Side Ride
Clint has a work friend in St. George. He was visiting him for lunch one afternoon when Bode had an allergic reaction to Nutella. It was so scary! Poor thing started swelling all up and having a tingly mouth and he started coughing and saying he was going to throw up. His lips and around them turned red and it looked like blisters were forming on the underside of his lip. I was pretty scared. He has mentioned that he gets a tingly mouth sometimes, but I feel terrible that I never really thought it was anything to worry about. I need to get him allergy tested because I think he may be allergic to tree nuts! Ron came to the rescue since I was car-less and got some Benadryl at the gas station. Luckily, he got better fairly quickly. Poor thing. These pictures were taken after it started getting better!
Anyway, fast forward to the next evening and we all went to Paul’s house to check it out and go for a fun family ride on his side by side.
Owen loved getting on the goggles and helmet, but that’s where his enjoyment ended. He was terrified the entire ride! I had to be holding his hand the whole time and he was so scared. I was having flash backs to his four wheeling ride in Midway! Bode loved every second of it!
My camera got flicked to manual focus during the bumpy ride and so this is the best shot I got of the beautiful landscape. A cell phone picture from our actual ride.

St. George
Every year Clint and his step brother and dad go on a fishing trip. The families are invited too. I feel like I just barely caught up blogging about the Sun Valley trip last year! Well, this year Bryan couldn’t go. It was just Abbey and the kids and us. The only fishing Clint got in was a little golf pond action. Thanks for letting us crash the Coral Canyon course, Ron. The boys LOVED it!

Bode’s Preschool Field Trip
Yesterday we were able to go to This is The Place Baby days with Bode’s preschool and it was so fun! Owen was in heaven and all morning long and kept saying it was his lucky day that he could come along with Bode to school. He didn’t realize what a field trip was and thought he was going to actual school. He’s so cute! Bode wanted to hang out with his friends, but he was so good to slow down and let Owen keep up with him. I debated bringing my big camera.. but I did. And I have a ton of pictures. We were able to see some baby animals and both of the boys loved that part! There were baby chickens and ducks and that was Owen’s favorite part. There was a little town they could play on with a train, and then we went on a real train ride. Bode’s teacher, Miss Trudi, is so fun to let us go on these fun trips!
