Play Doh

I really hate the stuff.  Bode got some for his second birthday and was in heaven. He played and played with it. It made such a huge mess in my house that every time he left some out I would just throw it away. Eventually it all got thrown away and I was happy. Bode has been playing with it at preschool and his friend’s house. He asked me if he could have some of his own the other day and I figured why not. He sat and played with it today. For hours. I’m not even exaggerating.  It still does make a huge mess, but he was pretty good about keeping the mess to one area. Within a few minutes he had already mixed the colors. That drives me insane, but I’m trying to relax about it. We made dinosaurs, letters, snakes, balls, all kinds of stuff. I feel kind of bad I banned it from the house for so long.

I opened up our back door for some light to take these pictures and Owen crawled over to it in like a few seconds! He’s so funny.

Jungle Gyms Play Land

I really don’t know if that’s the name haha. I can’t remember.

While my sister was here we went out to eat one night and then took the kids to this place. I was kind of worried because we didn’t even get there until 8 and my kids are usually in bed 7-7:30ish. Bode was tired, but had so much fun! He kept asking the adults for more tokens and wanted to try a little bit of everything. Owen was such a good little thing just watching everyone play. He did not like being in the baby Bjorn facing Clint, so we just put him in it backwards. I’m pretty sure that would be frowned upon – but oh well. My nieces were so cute and having so much fun. Clint and Aaron had fun playing air hockey and skee ball and goofed off as usual. My sister Kelli was having a blast on the kiddy rides! It was hilarious because Aaron said, “Who’s having more fun?” Good times! I think she was just loving it so much because Kenna was in kiddy heaven and making the cutest faces.

I’m so sad they are gone now. Bode keeps asking if we can go to grandma Doctors and see the girls. (He calls his great grandma gma dr. because every dr. appointment I had when pregnant with Owen my gram watched him.. it just kind of stuck.) Anywho, here are a bunch of pictures!

Bode waiting in line with dark under eye circles. Ahh.

Kenna made bffs with this cute girl sitting in the middle of her and Bode and Kaylan made bffs with the older girl sitting by her. It was so cute!

I love Kelli and Kennas’ faces!

Red eyed Owen! Poor little thing.

Wacky gator. Fun.

Aw Kenna. She is just too precious. She’s so quiet and tender hearted. TOTALLY opposite of my loud Bode.

IMG_0789

Kaylan was waving at her daddy every lap around. :)

IMG_0808

This ball flew all over the place before it got to any pins. Bode was wild and crazy with it.

IMG_0820

Me and my little guy. He’s so much more flexible with his routines than Bode ever dreamed of being. Second child syndrome I think! We’re more relaxed and he kind of has to learn to go with the flow. He was so good!

IMG_0835

Driving!

IMG_0855

They had quite the competitive spirit going on with skee ball. Too bad most of the score things were broken so when they’d get certain holes it wouldn’t give them the right points.

IMG_0865

Gum balls! Poor Kaylan choked on one right after this.

IMG_0876

Could he be any cuter? No.

IMG_0889

Gum and candy lipstick. Bode opted for a teensy tiny lizard that he’s been sleeping with since we went. It’s a pain because it’s always getting lost!

I’m glad we were able to squeeze in a bunch of fun things with my sister and her cute family. We are sure going to miss their company.

Airborne Trampoline Arena

My sister Kelli is in town with her family and we have been having a blast! The kids loved this jumpy place and it was really funny watching them bounce around. Miss Kenna was by far the funniest one of the bunch! I guess she wakes up every morning asking her mom if the trampoline is dry so she can jump. My sister lives in a suburb of Seattle so it’s usually rainy. She just loves jumping! This place was definitely up her alley.

Little Owen is a squirmy worm so he didn’t stay in the stroller for long. Luckily, Kelli and Aaron entertained him most of the time so I could try and snap pictures of the kiddos.

IMG_0944

Bode wanted to go to where the bigger kids were so bad. I kept telling him no, but I finally let him go. After sitting back a minute or two and watching the other kids, he took a turn on this rope thingy. I was so proud of him! I could tell he was super proud of himself after he was done too. :)

IMG_0949

Kenna and Kaylan were so brave and jumped off this really tall ledge! Bode was not having any of that. :) I missed Kaylan’s jump, but here is Kenna’s. HILARIOUS. After this they both jumped off an even bigger ledge.

The picture above cracks me up. Bode was just chillin’ watching Kaylan play.

My sister usually has these girls in matching outfits. How cute is that?

Uncle Aaron and cute Owen.

Ahhh I can’t get enough of this precious little girl. I’m going to miss my sister and nieces when they have to go back home. boo.
