Clint had to go out and buy and edger and a mower. It’s the first time in our lives together we have had a yard to take care of! He had a helper to make sure he was doing a good job.

Gardening
The five weeks we were in Washington, Bode went to preschool with Kenna. They got two cute plants to give to Kelli and I for Mother’s Day. Kelli was well into her 7 weeks of radiation at this point and starting to feel it more and more. One morning after we got home from the hospital she decided she wanted to plant the flowers and weed a bit. She was a happy little gardener just having a grand ole’ time. I couldn’t believe it! It seems silly, but in the moment I thought she may as well be super woman.
The kids loved it and were such great helpers. We thought it was the perfect spot for them and they looked great!
Are they still alive, Kelli?!

Backyard Work
Our bushes in the back yard have been out of control. They were much bigger than they used to be 6 years ago. Clint decided to cut them back. I can’t believe how much he cut down! He got rid of a rose bush that wasn’t doing so well anyway, and cleared a path to the hose back there. It’s so much nicer! It was still pretty smoky from the fire, but other than that it was so nice that night.
The boys helped of course. :)
I couldn’t resist taking a picture of Clint’s bum. <3
