Clint is super sad and misses the mullet. I have to admit I am *kind of* sad too. I think he is very handsome though. I’m glad I cut it. He’s such a big boy.

Christmas!

We had a great holiday season this year! It was the best one yet. My mom called on Christmas Eve to ask if they could spend Christmas morning with us before we headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa B’s house. I was so excited to have them over! We had yummy breakfast casserole and a lovely drink they heard of somewhere. We mixed egg nog with orange juice. It was delicious. Before they headed over we let Bode open a few presents from Santa. It was basically me opening them up because he had no clue what was going on, but he had a great time playing with them!

Bode stole this piece of breakfast casserole from my mom’s plate and ate the whole piece! We tried feeding him the casserole a few times before this and he wouldn’t have it. He’s so funny.

He was very pleased with himself after he ate the whole thing.  These below pictures are Bode and I opening all his presents. He has been playing with all the toys since Christmas. The small soccer ball was a big hit! He’s been walking around saying “BA BA” all day long since.

We went over to my grandparent’s house for Dinner and it was so good.  We all got carried away doing a puzzle and the 3:00 meal ended up being a 5:00 meal. Kevin, Chris and the boys came over while we were getting ready to eat and since they had already eaten they helped do the puzzle. It was a hard!Picture 283
After we were all full of yummy potato salad and hogies made of ham and turkey we went over to Ali and Grant’s house. (Clint’s sister and brother in law.) My nephew Drextin got a nintendo DS for Christmas and so he was playing that the whole time! To see more pictures of Drextin, click on this link! www.photobylori.blogspot.com
He also had this toy that blew up balls with air and Bode had fun playing with that.

Clint got William Joseph boots and waders and a fish pond fanny pack from santa (fly fishing gear, of course.) I got a kitchenaid mixer along with an awesome apron (as seen in the above pics)! We also both got a really nice picture of Jesus and a family preparedness stove that has 3 different ways to work it! We were spoiled this year. I hope everyone else had a great Christmas too!

Christmas Tree fun…

Merry Christmas Eve!!! Santa is coming and I can’t wait for the morning. Bode is going to LOVE it! I was having fun playing with my camera and the lights on the tree. I used this tutorial to try and get the shapes. The only punch I had was a teddy bear. Teddy bear Bokeh! How fun.

Kezerian Christmas Dinner

Tonight we headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa K’s for a family dinner. It was so much fun! I just love seeing everyone and always think how we should get together more often. My cousin Karen’s baby, Sophie, let my mom hold her and so then my mom started gloating! So my Aunt Kathleen (Sophie’s grandma) scooped up Bode and held him. It was pretty funny seeing my mom and aunt compete in that way. :)

Bode is not a lightweight by any means! My Grandpa had his hands full trying to hold onto a squirming Bode for this picture. It’s of my mom, Bode, Grandpa, and me. (I never say who is in my pictures because I figure everyone knows.. but I will try to do better.)

My mom and Bode. He was sure smiley tonight!
As the night went on he got pretty tired. As soon as we got him his blankie and binkie he was ready for bed.

Sunday Dinner at my Parent’s house…

My mom and dad invited us over for Sunday dinner. I guess you could say it was an early Christmas celebration. Clint couldn’t make it because he had to teach his class at church, and Erica and Andy wanted to get back on the road before it got too late. I was bummed we couldn’t wait for him, but Bode and I headed over. We had great food, good company, and lots of fun! Thanks for having us over!

Bode had fun with my mom, and Uncle Bret. Bret was feeding him chocolate covered raisins. He was a fan.

Uncle Bret kept Bode entertained. We thought it was hilarious when Bret showed just how long Bode’s mullet has gotten. I showed Clint this picture when I got home and he got so mad! He thinks I exploit the mullet. He seriously told me that. He said if I didn’t make such a big deal about it, no one would notice. Yeah right Clint! I don’t know why you love it so much, but it IS noticeable!
