Random Day

Bode was super happy because I bought him a curious george shirt. I normally don’t buy anything with a character on it (besides dinos) but I made an exception. Bode loves watching “can george.” He couldn’t say curious when he was younger and the name just stuck. He was showing me his shirt and to be funny I said ok now show me your bum. He obliged. :)

This same day Owen was napping and I was outside watching Bode play and painting my nails. The neighbor girls wanted their nails painted and so I did theirs too. :) neighbors-playingMy friend thought Owen would like this winnie the pooh walker. He didn’t actually ever walk in it. He climbed in and out of it all day long and so did Bode. After about a week Clint was like ok we do not need this and I gave it back. They had fun using it as a jungle gym while we had it though!boysplaying

Bode’s First Day of Preschool (2nd year)

Bode was SO excited to start school this year. He adores Miss Hollie and talked about going to school for at least 2 weeks before the morning actually came. We had a preschool open house the week before and that got him so geared up.
Last year I remember I had a 6 day old that slept in until 9-10am. Those days are LONG gone and I miss them, but preschool was very different last year. I was always just barely getting up and had to rush to get Bode ready and fed and off to school by 9:30.
This year the boys are up by 7am and Bode goes nuts asking me is it time for school to start yet. The first day Bode was ready to go by 8! He sat around, watched TV, colored.. and finally he was like MOM can we PLEASE just go! It was around 8:45 that I took him outside to play a bit. I thought I better get some pictures… some meaning a ton. We had a good 30 minutes playing around and me snapping pictures. He ended up being 15 minutes early to school. I was getting sick of him begging. It’s about a 2 min walk and once we got there he was really shy about going in. He wouldn't open the door and when I asked for a picture with his teacher he wouldn’t even look at me! SO strange considering how pumped up he was about it. He had a blast and has been loving it every preschool day since. Such a big kid now!

Airborne Trampoline Arena

While we had our nephews over Labor Day weekend we decided to take them to this trampoline place. The kids loved it! Grandma Cozzy came along too and she helped out a ton watching after Owen. He’s so funny these days. He wants to either be held by me, or exploring on his own. Bode gets braver and braver each time we go to this place, and I think it really helped him to see his cousins doing tons of crazy tricks. He wanted to be just like them. I couldn’t believe when he jumped off the high jump! It seems like yesterday that his cousins Kaylan and Kenna were jumping off that thing and he refused to even try. Here are a bazillion pictures of our fun day!
