This was October- November of 2013.
Clint took a ton of before pictures with his cell phone, but has since gotten a new one. He isn’t a freak about pictures, so he didn’t make sure they were copied to the computer before he made the switch. Now I couldn’t even tell you where that old phone was. I took some photos, not a ton.
Looking back at these makes me feel so strange. It was such a crap-tastic time. Clint worked SO hard. He would work on the house and I would clean when I got a chance to help. We missed him so much. Our poor boys were acting like their parents were separated. They were sad, emotional, acting out.. life was just so weird! Man was it worth it though.
One night around bed time I was so done. The boys were a mess. Clint usually puts them to bed and everything about their night time routine was just kind of messed up when Clint started living at the new house. After a couple failed attempts to put them to bed, I told them to grab their coats.. we were going to see dad. They jumped up and down, screamed, cheered, hugged each other, hugged me.. it was SOO exciting! It was an hour drive, and already about 8:30-9pm, but I didn’t care. We visited Clint in our jammies and then they fell asleep on the way home. They were so happy to see him!
