Owen’s First Haircut

Summer is over and I have a gazillion things to catch up on! I figured I would share cute Owen. He’s had two haircuts now, but this was his very first one. He was so excited! He sat like such a big kid. He has watched Bode get his hair cut lots of times, and I think he wanted to be just like him.

I debated cutting or not cutting his beautiful curls. I love them. BUT. They were getting out of control. The mullet grows so much faster than the rest of his hair. When he wakes up, it’s a matted mess. He’s not fond of me combing it twice a day, nor am I. I worried the curls would disappear, never to be seen again. I was wrong. Thank heavens. It was actually even more curly.
The mullet comes back and the second haircut I actually cut 2 inches off. I cut all of it as well, not just the back. It’s already grown back and he needs another cut.

Lazy Sunday

I love a nice summer Sunday night. These were taken forever ago, but I still love them. It was a rare occasion that the yard wasn’t swamped by hooligan neighbor children, so we took advantage.

After that we went inside and made cookies, which Owen got all over himself.

Seattle Great Wheel

Man alive I keep getting SO behind on blogging I just want to quit!! I guess I’ll keep trucking along and maybe catch up sometime.

So this is the last of our family excursion into Seattle while we were in Washington for 5 weeks. The boys loved this… for like a minute. Then they were bored and wanted to get off. I think Clint might have gotten bored too. Sheesh. It was beautiful and I loved it! There was a group of kids going to prom or some sort of dance in the line ahead of us and Bode stared and stared at them. HA! I felt like I was a million years old watching this group of youngins. Since when did I get so old? Anywho.. here are all the pictures of this fun excursion.
