Flying

This last time we went to see the Thurgood Family, we flew. Clint couldn't take off work for the two weeks, and I was not about to drive all the way to Washington State with the boys – by myself. They do really well in the car, but I didn’t have it in me. Bode couldn't remember the last time he flew because he was little, but we talked about this weeks before we left and he was so prepared for it. I worried a little about how they would do, but I really didn't need to. They did awesome!!!

Owen was a hit just about everywhere we went. Wooing the older ladies, flirting with the younger ones, being cute as ever with anyone who would pay him any attention. His hair got quite a bit of attention. Bode was such a great traveler. He helped me keep track of Owen, was very kind and polite throughout the entire travel day and was just awesome. It made me love my boys so much!

They were excited to look at the clouds, excited for the peanuts and pretzels, excited about the blue toilet water.. excited about it all. I loved it.

As we landed in Seattle and everyone started standing up and waiting to walk off plane I got a few of the people around us tell me how awesome the boys were. One of them told me I was such a great mom for entertaining them so well. Um, that was a nice thing for him to say! My last flight experience with Owen a year prior to this was NOT a good one. I was utterly embarrassed and at a loss what to do to help my screaming baby. I was that person. It was seriously awful. I'll take this experience over that one any day. loriromneyphotography_0049loriromneyphotography_0050loriromneyphotography_0048loriromneyphotography_0045loriromneyphotography_0046loriromneyphotography_0047
