West Yellowstone, MT

We just got back from the annual fishing trip, and it was so much fun. The boys and Bonnie went fishing Friday and Saturday, but didn't do too well. As some guy in the parking lot of the resort said, "The fish won." Abbey and I tried our best to entertain the kids in the hotel room, but we did swim, eat lunch at the park, walk around the town, and went to a Grizzly Bear discovery center once our husbands came back Saturday night. On Sunday all of us drove to Old Faithful and also spent some time at some emerald pools. It was cold and windy, but so beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife and some Buffalo even crossed the road right in front of us.

Abbey, Bonnie and I had a great time taking tons of pictures. They both have Nikons and I have a Canon and the whole weekend felt like photography 101. We messed with nearly every setting and tried to help each other figure out things we didn't know. The majority of all my pictures were shot in Manual! I ruined my fair share, and I still have tons to learn but I had a great time trying. I wasn't too pleased with any of my wildlife pictures, but if Bonnie and Abbey email some of theirs I will blog them later. Get ready for the picture overload.
