Whenever I ask him to do something and he does it, he will call himself a “bood bo.” (Good boy)
He loves to play ring around a rosie, but he stopped falling down for some reason. It used to be his favorite part and he would always do an extra spin before falling. I miss that!
He says “no” all the time. Bode, do you want another bite? “No.” Bode it’s time to brush your teeth. “No.” you get the idea.. He says it so cute though.
Clint came home from work the other night and Bode looked at him walk in the door and said, “Hi Dad.” Then he kept on sweeping, which is what he was doing. Usually it’s a huge ordeal and he gets so excited he starts kicking his feet really high and runs towards him.
He tries to put his socks and shoes on by himself.
He just started undressing himself.
He poops a lot. I think more than the average kid. Whenever he’s got a dirty diaper I say, “Bode! Did you poop your pants?” He says, “Uh huh” and starts walking upstairs which is where I always change him.
As long as we sing him songs he lets us brush his teeth really well. It used to be a nightmare.
Whenever he breaks something (for example my GLASSES) or drops something he says “oh oh!” (uh oh.)
He loves to grab the phone, put it up to his ear and say “hi dad!” or start blabbering jibberish but the second I get someone on the line he refuses to listen or talk. He pushes it away and tells me no.
We’re officially over the transition from two naps to one. Most days he goes down at 12 and sleeps for 3 hours. I hope this lasts forever. Ha. Yeah right.
I can’t think of anything else but we are so lucky to have Bode! We talk every night in our bed about how he’s so funny, happy, cute, perfect, nice, smart… the list goes on. We are truly blessed with him.
(He has a mouthful of fruit snacks, that's why he looks like a chipmunk.)

You never know, the three hour naps could last forever. My son would still take a three hour nap every day if I let him but we are trying to not do naps anymore because he will be starting school this next year.
He is a character and too cute! Enjoy this before the tantrums and meltdowns begin!!!

How did you make the transition to one nap? I try, but she wants to go to sleep by 10am every morning.. even if we try to drag out the time.. We are trying to get her on to a sippy only too, that's almost impossible! She'll hand me her sippy of milk and give me the sign for please so I'll put it in a bottle. How can you refuse such a sweet jester? lol She's the same way with the phone too! It's so funny! We need a play date...
