I’ve been a busy blogging girl tonight! 3 posts… when I should be sleeping.
So Clint and I took Bode to hee haws before the Seattle trip. I scheduled this outing on my calendar! I have had the busiest month of my LIFE it seems like this October. Between hair and photography appointments I didn’t have more than a few free days the whole month. I guess it’s not a bad thing. Bode is sick and we had to reschedule his birthday party that was supposed to be tomorrow. It’s funny how life is SO busy sometimes then something happens and you are forced to slow down a bit. Anyways, onto the farm.
Bode is so funny these days. He was scared of everything at Hee Haws. He kept saying, “Mommy hold you.” He’s almost 30 pounds. He is perfectly capable of walking! He loves “hoseys” but wouldn’t ride on one. We didn’t even try to make him because the last 2 rides were a lot of crying and Bode saying, “All done! I get off! Mom, I get down.” He loves “hawtas” (tractors.. that’s a funny one.) but didn’t want to get up on one. The second we put him on the huge pumpkin he cried, “Hold you mommy!” Clint thought it would be a good idea to let him go down the slide alone. I sent him on his way and he was really scared, although he didn’t cry and was fine at the bottom. He was nervous about the goats and ducks, although he was talking about goats for days after. He cried a little bit when the big tractor pull started, even while on Clint’s lap. We did a trick or treat hay ride and Bode was not a fan of the people chucking candy at his head. It was kind of an off night for Bode. I kept thinking about last year when we went with the Thurgoods and it made me miss them. I’m glad we went though! It’s always fun to spend time together. I’m wondering if he didn’t feel well? It was just a few days later that he came down with a horrible case of croup while we were in Seattle.

I'm sad it didn't work out for us to go with you. From the pics it at least looks like Bode had a good time.
