Another Random Catch Up

Owen sure sleeps a lot! He’s awake more and more, but we definitely take advantage of the sleepiness.

Bode and Clint love to practice fly fish. They go into the yard and get out Clint’s fake fly rod and throw it around. Well, the neighbor cat also loves this game. It comes over every time! Bode just loves it and now he says that he wants to go and fly fish for a cat. It usually hides under whatever car is around, but comes out to play with the yarn. Bode always catches the cat. :)

Clint loves watching clips on you tube, vimeo or wherever else he can find fly fishing videos. Our humors are not similar because he will be dying laughing watching some dumb video and he will make me come over and watch it. I’m usually like, “What? that’s not even funny.” It’s hilarious seeing how hard Clint laughs though. Well, Bode is now obsessed with watching movies on the “puter".” His request is always dinosaurs.

Whenever Clint is holding Owen, he’s usually touching his little feet…unless Clint is asleep.  I just noticed it going through pictures a few days ago. I think it’s the cutest thing!

My sister, Kelli, came into town last week and got to see Owen for the first time! I just loved having her here. She is awesome and helped me out a TON. She got Bode to go to the store with her and spoiled him rotten! Bode doesn’t go places with just anyone.. She bought him basically anything he wanted. He came home with dinosaurs, a snake, THREE different kinds of fruit snacks, more stuff that I can’t remember. Kelli told him that she would get him a toy if he went to the store with her and I stayed home. He came up to me and said, “Mom.. stay here ok?” I was kind of confused and Kelli told me what she had said. He loved it!

She helped me out with Owen, helped me out with Bode, cleaned my house, did dishes, got Bode from preschool while I was at the Dr. with Owen, took Bode to McDonalds, made practically every meal while she was here… it was heaven!!! We tried to go out and shop, but the first night Clint called me saying Owen was hungry after an hour and a half of us being gone. The second time we brought him along and all he did was cry and want to eat. LAME! Owen sure is a party pooper.

After Clint got Kelli from the airport, we all ate dinner at my Grandma and Grandpa B’s house. Grandma and Grandpa K were invited over as well, so Owen’s Great Gma K finally got to hold him! She was too nervous at the hospital after he was born, so she scooped him up before we ate dinner and got to love on him.

Bode recently found these Dinosaur boots I bought him MONTHS ago. He wouldn’t wear them before because he said they were too big. Well, now he won’t take them off. His new thing is raiding his closet and coming out with the most interesting things on. He’s also been wearing his hiking boots lately.. If you’ll notice in the fly fishing for the cat pictures he’s wearing them.

Sorry for the randomness, but I just don’t have the time or energy to spend much time on the blog these days!!! A jumbled up post of everything is better than getting behind I suppose. :)

Another BIG thanks to my little sister Kelli. She seriously was amazing to fly out here without her girls and help me out. I happened to get shingles while she was here, so it was the perfect time to have extra help. I’m soooo  thankful for her doing all of that just for us. Owen loves his Auntie Kelli and Bode is still asking where you are! LOVE YOU!
