Life at Home
It has been so nice to be home! I feel like we are getting more sleep now than when he was at the hospital. He is so much fun and we feel so blessed that he is doing so well. The Neonatologist who discharged Bode from the hospital last Friday could not believe how fast he was able to recover from his surgery. He said that most all babies born with his complications get to a certain point on their feeds they can't tolerate. All the Doctors were just waiting for Bode to hit that point, and he never did. It's just amazing. He is one tough kid! That is the reason why we were able to come home sooner than expected. God is really looking after Bode. He is just perfect. I love being a mom!

Lori he is SO stinkin cute! So I guess we will be coming to your house to visit you guys! I was expecting you to be in the hospital for a lot longer! That's so nice that he is doing so well and that you were able to go home! I will call you soon because I really want to come see him... plus I still have your shower present to give you!
Bode looks like he is right where he is supposed to be~ home with his mommy and daddy :)

He is beautiful! I know that you aren't supposed to say that about boys, but he's still small so maybe I can get away with it. I am glad that he is home. I could have predicted MANY YEARS AGO, that you would be an awesome mama.
That is so good that he recovered quick. He is so cute!! and he is holding his head up it looks like!! Oh, I miss those days when you could just hold them all the time and all day!! Hailee won't let me even rock her anymore!! but she is still fun!!

Yah, that is crazy to think that I could have Capri right now. I still don't feel ready for her! Maybe I'm just feeling selfish, maybe its just nerves. lol We are really excited though.
