It was { kind of } warm today so we played outside. Bode was in awe of the flowers for some reason. He’s seen them a million times by now and never stopped to smell or look at them. We have raspberries growing and they look so much better than they did last year! I really hope we get more berries this summer. If anyone has any extra starters we’ll take them!! (ahem.. neighbor Laura or gram B if you have any left after you give Erica some :)
Bode was playing in the dirt while I was trying to weed the raspberries and found a roley poley. He handled the little bug so delicately! It was hilarious. It fell out of his hand and he didn’t care enough to look for it. I found a bunch of worms in the dirt so I gave Bode one of them. He looked at it… then chucked it into the grass and stared at it wiggle for a few minutes. Good times.

I am glad Bode is nice to the insects. Darci does the complete opposite. If she see's a bug or anything crawling, she immediately stomps on it. And if she does pick it up, she squishes it. So gross!!
