Mother’s Day was amazing! It started out Saturday when we went to dinner with Clint’s brother Andy and his lovely family. We ate at the Mayan and it was really fun. I do have some pictures, but none blog worthy. Those crazy strobe lights and darkness were really messing with my camera. Bode loved the diving show and we all had fun. After we ate we went to Clint’s sisters’ flower shop/bakery. Ali and Rachel are so talented! I took tons of pictures of all the flowers that were going to make tons of moms very happy! They also had really cute purses! I told Clint I really wanted one and he was so rude going on about how I had tons of purses and didn’t think I needed a new one. Well, he got it and hid it in the trunk for me to find when we got home. :)
These following pictures of the lovely flowers that made ME happy! Clint helped Ali deliver her arrangements Sunday morning because she had SO many to be delivered and came home with a gorgeous bouquet for me. Thanks Clint (ahem.. Ali..) He walked in and grabbed Bode and had him try and give me the flowers. They were pretty heavy for a little buster, but it was so cute. Sunday afternoon we headed out to my parents’ house and had a Mother’s Day meal with my sister Kelli and her family, too. Lots of good food and great company.
Since we’re on the subject of pretty flowers – our HOA almost ruined ours! They watered our plants and flowers on a night that froze last week. Those poor flowers drooped over and had ice all over them. I was so sad and thought for sure they were ruined. They popped right back up that afternoon and all was well again. :)
