Idaho {part 4}

We spend a lot of time at the pool! Which was AMAZING. It was so big and so nice! My aunt and uncle had it heating up for a few days and it was SO warm. It was really kid friendly because they had a big step that was shallow enough for Bode to walk on. There were even tile details before the edge of the deep water! Bode loved walking around from the shallow step around to the other shallow stair. He even let us take him out to the “big water” for some swimming. Abbey and her kids came one afternoon and all the kids had so much fun. Bode was kind of out of control with the water squirter toys, but we didn’t get TOO wet. :)

I am in LOVE with Owen’s eyes. He is so stinking cute.

He was getting his outfit so dirty and Bode was skinny dipping this morning, so I figured might as well let Owen join in on the fun! My aunt let me sleep in one morning and I came down to Bode butt naked wrapped in a blanket watching TV on the couch. He is usually the most private kid and does not like to be naked, or even shirtless. I was stunned. I asked him why he was naked and he said, “I was skinny dippin!!!!!” Someone had to break in the pool and be the first skinny dipper, right? Thanks Aunt Karolyn! hahaha.

Bode had red tired eyes the entire trip. Poor thing was having too much fun to ever nap or go to bed at a decent time.

We had so much fun in Idaho and we will definitely be going again (hopefully) soon! Bode is a rock star in the car.. and Owen. Well, we made it home. :) He was ok.. but he does NOT like his car seat and he was pretty sad here and there throughout the 6 hour drive there and 6 1/2 back. Once he fell asleep it was pretty good! Thanks to my awesome aunt and uncle for letting us stay in their new home and treating us to meals, groceries, babysitting.. etc. We love you guys! Bode already misses his cousins and asks about Ayla and Griffin almost every day. Thanks for hanging out with us and having us over for dinner. We will miss you guys.
