I’m so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who sent His son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for me. For my kids… Clint. My sister. All of us. I find strength in knowing that he knows us and he knows our hearts. I can not imagine life without that knowledge and His love and guidance.
Easter was great this year. The boys loved waking up to find their baskets and we enjoyed a great morning at church. They had the men and women combined for Sunday school and I loved being able to sit next to my love. We watched a video of the Savior suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane. Following that video we watched this one. They brought tears to my eyes and although it’s so hard to watch, it was a huge reminder to me that no matter what our trials are in this life, He atoned for our sins. He overcame death so we could have the gift of resurrection. I’ve never been one that’s great with words, but I am overwhelmed with love, peace and comfort knowing this and personally feeling it.
We were running late for church (as usual) and I made the boys sit for a second to take this picture. I didn’t even have time clean up, or at least fake clean up the area. I love it so much.
After church we headed to my grandparents’ house where we had a delicious meal and the boys got to search for eggs in the yard. They had a blast! I had my camera out and so my Aunt asked if I would snap a few shots of my niece, Ashtyn. She was busy let me tell you so I told my aunt to find a chair to bring out. It was perfect and she actually sat and stayed in it and we got some adorable shots. After we got a bunch she was telling me I should get my boys to sit for some. I’m glad she did, because they are adorable!
Clint is being ridiculous and Owen is picking his nose. HA! What a little gem this picture is.
I just HAVE to include these of sweet Ashtyn. Isn’t she a doll?!
