I guess I don’t know how to boil eggs. Clint came home with two and a half dozen eggs in this big flat. When it came time to boil them, I just boiled them all. I don’t know why?! I guess that is a ton to boil. I just figured he bought that many, I should boil them all? I had him google how to do it and even after he told me, I did it wrong. My pot was too full of water and medium heat was not coming to a boil. We needed to go to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and so I left with the boys. Clint volunteered to figure out the egg situation.. because at this point after 20 minutes we had eggs that still weren’t finished. Coincidentally there was a hockey game on TV. Pretty convenient for Clint, I think. The boys had so much fun at the hunt and loved seeing all their friends.
After the hunt and the eggs were finally done, we painted them. With the help of friends, of course!
I loved how bright and vibrant they turned out. Sunday the boys were looking SO cute, so I made them pose for me to get a picture. After church we ate and then Clint hid the eggs all around the backyard. They had fun finding them. I made some deviled eggs and they were delish, too! I am lame and didn’t get a ham or anything traditional. We had chili and cornbread. With a side of deviled eggs.. HA! This is what the Easter bunny brought the boys. They are SPOILED.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the Savior and all he has done for us. I am feeling extremely grateful that He lives. And that because of Him, we have been blessed with so much. Happy Easter!
