This & That

Clint and I went out on a date last night! That's right, we got a babysitter!! As we were driving into Lehi to start the night off with shopping, we could not believe how old the two of us are. I remember being the babysitter. Bode went to bed around 7:45 and the sitter came over at 8, so he was sound asleep the entire time, but I was freaking out! I didn't want to be the crazy who called her a million times, so instead I called my mom to freak out on her. :) The sitter did great and we just traded a hair cut for babysitting, so it worked out perfect. After we got some cute summer clothes for Bode, we had ice cream, then went to a movie. What a fun night! A bit weird with no baby, but fun. It reminded us of when Bode was in the NICU and we went out and about feeling childless. What's a post without pictures of my baby? Grandma Bonnie & Grandpa Ron gave Bode this fish tank toy for Christmas and he LOVES it. Everytime he moves it, it makes noise. This picture is funny to me for two reasons. 1. Bode thinks he can put anything in his mouth. 2. You can see some of his baby boob cleavage. There is never a shortage of smiles around our house. How did this even happen? I thought it was funny. Thank heavens he still loves to cuddle even though he's getting older.
p.s. I am embracing the thumb sucking. It is pretty cute and from what people say, it's not as bad as I thought. :)
