Babysitting!

As some of you know, my sister Kelli is on a trip of a lifetime in Europe with her best friend Spenser. Kaylan, my niece, spent most of the 10 day trip with her Grandparents in Texas. I just had her for a bit Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until my brother in law, Aaron could pick her up. We had SO much fun!!
Bode loved having her around and pretty much stared at her the whole time. Kaylan loved Bode and kept trying to kiss him. It was so cute. I took it upon myself to do little Kaylan's hair and it was adorable! I just got it wet, Kaylan helped me, then put a bit of mousse in it. Who knew the girl had all that curl? I had a sneaking suspicion, but wow! I was showing her pictures of her mommy on the computer and managed to sneak putting her hair back. That only lasted a few hours before she realized it was in her hair, and she ripped it out. It sure looked cute though.
I hope I have one girl in my lifetime. She walked around our house like a little princess and I loved it. For a girl who has had a pretty hectic last 10 days, she was awesome. I know her Mom is missing her like crazy and can't wait to see her tomorrow. Kelli: I can babysit anytime!
Ask me how many pictures I took this weekend. I'll just tell you. 158. I am out of control.
Bode all smiles. Anyone have an amazing remedy for dry cheeks? The baby magic isn't cutting it. (My sister Erica did recommend Aveeno lotion, I just haven't tried it yet.) Oh I just want to pinch her cute face! Who knew a diaper genie refill was so much fun? She wore it on her arm like a bracelet.
CUTE CUTE CUTE
Bode loves Gunner. This is miss Kaylan turning on and off the humidifier in Bode's room.

Oh the fun.

I love Kaylan's hair...too cute. Oh and Brayden had a dry spot on his chin kind of like that and I got some Aveeno thick moisturizing cream and that seemed to work pretty well.

I love Eucerin cream for places that need more help than just lotion. My kids all have a few problem areas-cheeks and hands especially during the winter. Sometimes their skin can become more dependent on the moisturizers in the lotion rather than producing moisture them selves. So sometimes good old vaseline to lock in their own moisture helps too-did that make sense? Anyway, good luck! Those are some cute kids! Looks like you had fun. Too bad we don't live closer, you can do my girls hair anytime!

They are both so adorable!

Aveeno has always worked really well for us too.

Griffin has had a red splotchy rash around his mouth for about a month now.....I think from teething and all the drooling. The doctor told us to use hydrocortisone cream and it is finally starting to look better.

I bought some stuff that is like chapstick for little baby's. It is Johnson's soothing naturals. Soothe and protect balm-softens dry cheeks and patches. I love it and use it all the time. Like I said before it is like chapstick, but for babies cheeks. You can find it in the baby sections of stores.

Get Aquaphor(don't know if it is spelled right.) It looks and feels like vaseline but works great.
Bode is getting so big. What a doll.

On Hailee I use the Johnson and Johnson baby cream. It is in a pink tube. She gets dry spots and I use that and it seems to clear it up fast. It is a really thick cream.

She has the bluest eyes, I love it. I see why you had so much fun with her! I bet Bode loved the company! I started using Aveeno lotion for Capri's skin... it was getting rashy with eczema and it seemed to help. My pediatrician said the thicker the lotion, the better. Also, try baby oil. I use baby oil gel and that seems to help as well. Her skin has gotten better the older she gets too though.

Bode is such a doll! He's getting so big! I can't wait til we can get Bode and Capri together this Summer! I am going to have a baby party with all my new mom friends. haha

How are you doing? I just noticed last night that I never replied to your email, how rude am I? Gawsh.
