This is my sweet baby boy 1 day old.
I can't believe Bode is already one year old. He is one tough kid who has overcome so much. He is the best baby ever, and we are so lucky to have him! Here is his birthday in pictures.
This picture was before everyone got to our house. It's typical Bode trying to get me to put him down.
The cake. I made Bode a cupcake, but we all ate this cake.
He loved playing with the balloons! When he saw the living room for the first time this morning he stared at everything for a whole minute taking it all in.

Poor thing did NOT know what was going on while we sang him the bday song.
I had to feed him a few bites until he realized what was going on. He finally caught on and started shoving cupcake in his mouth. He tried to feed me some, but I didn't eat it.
Ok- He's got the hang of it now.
He got blue frosting on Clint.
Right after this he started licking his hands.
We had such a fun time celebrating with our Bode. He's such a funny kid and we love him so much! I felt like crying when we put him to bed tonight. Tomorrow will just be another day! So sad.

What a cool cake and frosting..and it looks darling smeared all over his face! They grow up so fast!
I remember when he was first born and spending a day with you in the NICU when Clint was sick. I can't believe that was a year ago! He's adorable!
