Bode wasn't feeling well for about a week or so. He was fussy, emotional (breaking down over nothing) and attached to my leg. I thought he was just teething and prayed for those suckers to break the skin so I could have my baby back. (His molars have been swollen.) My sister Erica came up from Cedar and we all hung out at my other sister Kelli's house. Poor little guy was not himself! It stresses me out like no other to have a crying, screaming, unhappy baby. I don't know what to do and I hate it. Being a mom is hard! I worry my future kids might be fussy or colicky and I will go into a deep dark depression. I don't deal with fussy babies very well. He broke out in a rash all over his back, stomach, neck, and head. He had a low grade fever. Kelli searched the internet and thought it was a reaction from shots maybe? Or from teething? I hate never knowing. We couldn't even enjoy feeding the ducks or playing at the park. Bode had enough. I had enough. I had to leave for home.
The next day the rash was gone, the fever was gone, and Bode was back!! It took a few days before he was fully himself again. I missed my happy bundle of personality. I still don't know what in the world it was. He still doesn't have more teeth.
Bode and I have been having a blast all week. He cracks me up.
He still won't smile for me when I take his picture. At least I have his pretty baby blues in this one. (Can anyone tell what he's doing?? The boy loves rocks.)
