Friday night I had a Girls Night planned with some of my neighbors. Clint found out that he had to take the scouts to a BYU basketball game and could not get out of it. I called every babysitter over the age of 12 in the ward and everyone was busy. Friday afternoon I was telling my Grandma B, cousin Sara, and sister Kelli my dilemma. They suggested Clint just take Bode to the game. The thought of it stressed me out, but sounded better than me staying home! Bode only had one nap from being at my Grandma's that day (he normally takes 2) & the boy zonks right out between 7 and 7:30 every night! Clint wasn't going to get home until 10:30 or 11:00, but he said he wouldn't mind taking Bode. Turns out I had a great time with my girls, and Bode had a great time with his daddy. Clint said he was great, never cried or got fussy, and eventually fell asleep right in his arms, which he never does. Clint must have mentioned how much fun he had with Bode last night like 10 times today. Yay for Bode's first Guys night out!
I was texting Clint asking him how Bode was doing and although he said he wanted to tell me horrible, he just sent me this lovely cell phone picture instead.

I got this picture too... I couldn't believe he was ASLEEP at the game,lol... it's amazing where kids fall asleep,lol.
