The other night Bode was walking around having a grand old time before bedtime. He loves soft things, and while he was checking out the closet, he found this old scarf. I crocheted this scarf while working at my first salon in Cherry Creek, CO. I love this scarf. So does Bode. It's soft and he wraps it over his head. I thought it was too cute, so I had to snap a picture (or 100.) Right at that moment Bode went over to Clint and gave his Daddy a big old hug. Precious, I know.
Right after that Bode went on his merry little way and Clint and I were talking about the settings on the camera. I was changing them to see if I could get any good pictures without the flash on. Clint is taking pictures to see if it's working and Bode started screaming. It wasn't until after the ordeal I knew Clint actually got a picture of it. Bode was jumping (a favorite past time of his) and must have tripped on something or the jumping got out of hand or whatever, but he ended up hitting his jaw on the coffee table. This is him right after it happened.
After every accident comes the inspection. I thought he bit straight through his tongue because I saw blood on both sides. Clint was telling me to calm down, he did not bite through his tongue. After a closer look, we found out that he bit the bottom of his tongue with his bottom teeth, and the top of it with his top teeth. Nothing went through. He was fine.
He did not like us checking his mouth. Kinda like he hates when we brush his teeth. Go figure.
