Carnival

Every year they do Pony Express days in Eagle Mountain. There are tons of events going on and we decided to take Bode to the carnival on Saturday. I had a photo walk (<--that's a link) that morning and practically begged Clint not to go fishing so we could go to the carnival later in the afternoon. The park where it was being held was a 1 minute walk from our house so I felt like we had to go at least once. Bode had a blast and I’m glad we went! We started with the merry go round. Bode liked it for the first few minutes then he tried to get off mid ride and I had to hold him the rest of the time.

    

His favorite thing there was this huge slide. We didn’t even bother with any of the other rides, and used all of the rest of the tickets on the slide. Clint decided he would take pictures and just watch us do everything. I had lots of fun with Bode and I think Clint had fun watching. It would have been money well spent but we got the tickets free! Thanks Janae! :)

 

Ruby River had a food booth so we got some ribs. It was so funny watching Bode eat them. Those things were pretty spicey too so I was shocked he loved them so much.

Until next year Carnival… Gunner is glad to have his park back.
