Bode is the sweetest boy ever. He loves his mama so much and he is always saying, “You ok mama?” “Coming mama?” If I trip or he steps on me, “Oh sorry mama.” When I put something on for the day he says, “Sooo cute mama.” When I grab him rocks before we enter the grocery store (or any place) he says, “Oh mama!!! Thank-oo so much!” Everyday he will shut a door in my face and say, “Bye mom. Wuv-oo too.” The list of new things seems never ending. Oh I just want to squeeze and kiss his cheeks all the time! I felt like I needed to reward him for being the best kid ever one day. I couldn’t think of anywhere to go, I’d spent any money I didn’t have already shopping.. we live in the middle of nowhere so it’s a good 20-40 min to anywhere cool… so the best thing I could come up with is a treat at the gas station. Pathetic, I know. The kid is easily pleased, what can I say? I got him a popsicle, you know, the big sticks. He went to town on that thing. It was long gone before we could walk back home. Bode can’t eat anything without making a huge mess. I mean ANYTHING! Bank suckers are the worst. Did I mention I don’t keep candy in the house? He once stained a shirt with a fruit roll up. (Totally not your fault Abbey, he’s got problems.) So - I had to stop every couple steps to wipe him off, the stroller, my own hands and arms, everything he touched basically. I was regretting it almost instantly, although I feel like it’s a right of passage or something. It’s actually the first treat he’s ever gotten from the gas station, besides a sucker my neighbor grabbed for him one day on a walk. (Thanks Naenae.)
He was soo dirty I had to clean him off before we went back in the house. I figured the hose would be a good way to do it. He was hose crazy for a few minutes and I was soaked, everything around him was soaked and the giggling made it hard to get mad at him. He was one happy kid, until he accidentally turned it around and sprayed his own face. 
Not to worry though, he got right back up without skipping a beat, and started spraying everything again.

He's so stinkin cute. I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of him after he sprayed himself in the face. Ugh, I miss you guys so much! He's getting so big and I'm missing it! Thank goodness for skype!
