Girl’s Night Out

First off let me start by saying Clint is the best husband EVER. I am leaving for a Girl’s cruise to the Bahamas tomorrow morning, and he let me go on girl’s night last night. He is out fishing today so I guess we work well being together and still letting each other do what we want. I have the best neighbor’s and so we hang out a lot. We go for walks, hang out with the kids outside, work out together, go to yoga together, play dates.. you get the picture. We decided to throw together a last minute dinner and movie date, but only me and 2 others ended up being able to do it. We had a blast!! I love my friends. It makes all the difference to get along so great with the people you live by. We’re all picture crazy with nice cameras.. so you get us together and it’s a little trouble and a lot of pictures. Thanks Sarah and Janae for a fun night! I’m exhausted from getting home after 2am, but I *think* it was worth it. J/k. I love you girls!

So cute! What kind of camera do you have? I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D5000 and I'm going to take a photography class during my next semester just for a hobby:) I've been wanting an nice camera and I'm wondering if you have any pointers?

Stephanie, I have a Canon 50d. I started out with a Rebel XT which is similar to the d5000. If you get serious really fast (like wanting to be professional) you will grow out of that camera within 6 months to a year, but if you just want a really great camera to get awesome pictures you will love it forever! Buy the book Understanding Exposure (revised edition) by Bryan Peterson. I've read it like 4 times and feel like I should probably read it again.
