Bode had a preschool party the morning of Halloween and then after I picked him up we headed straight to Clint’s work. They let the kid trick or treat to everyone and the boys loved it! Bode kept complaining that he was so hot and wanted to take off his costume, but we kept telling him he couldn’t get any candy unless he kept it on.
My monkey and dragon were a big hit. This year Bode said he wanted to be a dragon again. Instead of being a super cool mom and talking him into something new this year, I was like thinking SWEET! I think his outfit from last year will still fit. While I was downstairs looking for it, I found Bode’s old monkey costume he wore when he was one. PERFECT. Didn’t have to spend a dime for either one of the boys this year. I know, I already said. I’m lame like that.
