I decided to get a season pass this year and we have been going a ton! Bode loves it for the most part, but it’s been a struggle some days. If you have a pass, you can get in at 9:30. So we get up, get ready, and go early. Bode must have at least 7 or 8 swim suits and he refuses to wear any of them but two. This has been driving me insane!!! He’s so picky these days with what he will and won’t wear. Drives me NUTS.
It takes about 40-45 min to drive there, and we always leave around 12-1. Once we get there, he always wants me to hold him everywhere we go. With my growing belly, it’s so uncomfortable to hold him. Sometimes the pressure sends these zings through my belly! It’s the weirdest thing. I never had these sharp pains the first time around being prego. I try to explain this to him but he still whines and cries sometimes. He knows by now what the rules are when we enter the park. In the car we go over them just as a reminder and he will say, “No hold you mommy, no cryin’, no runnin’ away, no screamin.” I remind him he needs to be nice and try really hard to have fun and be a good boy. Some days it works. :) I love getting away and enjoying the sun shine. He’s usually a lot of fun and we have a blast.
He loves his squirt gun. I just found out it’s not allowed in the wave pool though. Oops.
We went with his friend Logan last week. Isn’t he cute??
My little brother has a season pass and so every once in a while we run into him. Bode LOVES it. My mom came once and that was fun for Bode as well. Here’s to the rest of the summer!! I’m not keen on putting on my swim suit the following 3 months.. but there could be worse things I suppose.
