It was storming pretty bad one afternoon and lightning started the mountain on fire. In the middle of the rainstorm. Seriously! It was crazy how much smoke there was. We woke up one morning and the entire house smelled awful of smoke. I think it was like almost 6,000 some acres that burned total. My phone was blowing up from everyone concerned if we were ok. Luckily we weren’t in any danger from this one. It’s a bummer that everywhere you look in the mountains around here and all black now. Glad they got it contained and hopefully Eagle Mountain is done with fires for a long time!
