Clint got a motorcycle. He’s been wanting one for a long time and finally did it. He commutes a long ways to get to work and he was telling me how much money we could save on gas. It will basically pay for itself in one summer. It’s just a small bike and the engine isn’t very big either. It’s barely highway legal. He loves it though. It’s a good looking bike! And he looks pretty good riding it. He got a retro style helmet with a padded jacket and gloves to match. He takes it very seriously and is very safe. He got a different exhaust for it so that it would be louder. I hate loud motorcycles, but he did it so that other cars will hear him coming. He also ordered a bigger light for it and is going to get some kind of bulbs that can be seen better. Clint has always been a very cautious driver and he is always making sure he’s paying attention to what he’s doing behind the wheel. Me? Not so much. My parents were not the most cautious drivers growing up (sorry mom and dad.) I hate to say it, but it kind of rubbed off one me. Clint is always telling me I need to be more careful. I do worry about other drivers now that Clint will be on the roads on a motorcycle, but I know he will do everything he can to be safe. He takes an alternate way to work that is less congested and even though it’s been like 100 degrees he will not ride his bike without all his proper gear. He’s the kind of guy who researches safety tips! Can’t ever be too safe.
Bode thinks he has the coolest dad EVER now that he has a motorcycle. It’s so cute. He is pretending his bicycle is a motorcycle now. His friends will be outside and he’s like, “Wanna come see my dad’s motorcycle?” It’s so funny! It’s just a one seater and so none of us have been on any rides or anything, but we’re more than ok with that. :)
Clint works so hard and I’m glad he got himself a fun new toy.
