Pike’s Place

After our visit to the space needle we walked over to the monorail and rode it down to the farmer’s market. While we were waiting for it to come, Bode tripped over Clint who was knelt down fixing Owen’s shoe. He fell so hard onto a metal beam. He got his forehead pretty bad and he screamed SO loud. He thought Clint did it on purpose, which made for an awkward time of it all. Seattle is not an ideal place for kids anyway, but by now we had everyone's attention. It was a huge red and blue bump that came up almost instantly. It managed to get worse and worse. The poor kid was extra clingy to Clint on the ride, but he did pretty dang good otherwise.

We walked all around to some of the shops and then got some ice cream. It was so good! Owen was a good little thing and found this little toy to play on while we sat and ate. Her kept coming back for more bites because that kid loves ice cream. Bode does not, but he surprised us and ate a little bit. I barely took pictures of this adventure because I was too busy trying to keep track of one kid, while Clint was keeping track of the other. Did I mention how NOT ideal this place is for kids? No one stopped for the stroller, there were SO many people everywhere. And when I say people, I mean weird people. Ok not everyone. (almost though…) We didn’t spend too much time here before heading down to the waterfront.
