The Space Needle

We got a hotel during our stay in Washington for a night and it was a couple blocks from all the fun sites to see. We acted like tourists and did tons of stuff. The boys were kind of tired, and Clint isn’t a huge fan of anything to do with lots of people.. but he did it for me. I can’t speak for Clint, but I thought it was SO much fun! He didn’t really care if we did the whole site seeing thing, but I told him that we had to take our family to the space needle! He had never been before, and I had only been one other time with Bode (and my sis and her two oldest.) Everyone who visits Seattle needs to see it, right?! I thought so anyway.

Strollers were not allowed in the line to get up to the top or at the top, and that was kind of a challenge. Owen is all over the place, and the boys tried to wander around, but luckily it didn’t take too long to get to the front of the line. Bode got pretty bored at the top and all he wanted to do was go back to the gift shop he spotted on our way in. Go figure.

It made us nervous to have the kids up there. Especially Clint. I held Owen up to look out and Clint acted like I was going to pull a Michael Jackson and hold him right over the edge. I thought it was kind of funny… I would never do such a thing, but I guess I could have been safer? Anyway, our boys are alive and well though. We survived.

Lots of money, some stress, a beautiful view, and some family time and we can say we have all been to the Space Needle. Wahoo!

From here we rode the monorail to Pike’s Place. Until next time.. 2013-07-19_00012013-07-19_00022013-07-19_00042013-07-19_00032013-07-19_00052013-07-19_00062013-07-19_00072013-07-19_00082013-07-19_00092013-07-19_00102013-07-19_00112013-07-19_00122013-07-19_00132013-07-19_00142013-07-19_00152013-07-19_00162013-07-19_00172013-07-19_00182013-07-19_00192013-07-19_00202013-07-19_00212013-07-19_0022
