This is my neighbor Gabe and me seconds after crossing the finish.
Our goal was 30 minutes, but I didn't realize how hard the mile long hill at the very end would be! Here are my official results:

This is me, Gabe's sister, and Gabe.
My favorite kid in the whole world!! Clint was amazing at got the baby ready and met me at the finish line. I was so happy to have my little family there for support.
After the race, we headed over to my parent's house in Spanish Fork for a yummy lunch. Thanks Mom and Dad! After lunch, we headed home and all took a long nap. After we woke up and got ready, we headed into Salt Lake to have dinner at my Grandparent's house, then headed over to my Aunt and Uncle's to catch up with the other side of the family. It was a long day, but we had a great time!

Congrats on your first 5k!! All that hard work is totally paying off... you look AMAZING! I'm glad you're loving it and your time was soo good - especially considering you have only been running for a month! GO LORI!
You are so ambitious! You look great and I'm impressed that you ran the race... I need to get doing that.
Lori, awesome job! I am so jealous, kind of. I would love to run one of those but ALL the people I just can't stand.
Dang way to go! You can do a 10k but let me suggest you pick a course that is flat. Hills (as you know) are the worst! Races are fun, aren't they?
Go, Lori!!! Great job :) and what a cute little supporter you had waiting at the finish line!!
That's awesome you were able to do that..... and enjoy it!
Oh my gosh girl that is awesome!
You are amazing :) Way to go for keeping up with running and doing the 5K.
Way to go Lori! I've done two 5K's and thought they were hard, I don't think I'd ever be able to do a 10K.
so proud of you! look how far you have come.. from not running.. to a track superstar! awesome
YAY! I am so proud of you. I wish I could run.
