Length: 28"
Weight: 20 lbs 10 oz
Head: 45 1/2
He is quite the trouble maker. His day consists of crawling all over the house standing up on anything he can, including walls??? and getting into everything he can. He knocks over Gunner's water dish at least twice a day and lays in it splashing all around. I put his food and water dish up whenever Bode is awake, but at least 3-4 times a day I take Gunner outside to play fetch. He always needs water as soon as we come inside, and that is when Bode gets into it. I can even see he's crawling right for it and he's faster than me! I never catch him in time. Last night I fed Gunner and Bode knocked over his food dish and started eating the dog food. I cleaned it up and put the dish on a kitchen chair so Gunner could still reach it but Bode couldn't. WRONG. Bode stood right up on the chair and knocked it over.

He was crawling for the dog food dishes around the corner, but got sidetracked by Clint.
He stands up on everything and is getting braver as the days go by. He can stand up on his own for 5-15 seconds and Clint and I joke around Bode is going surfing. He's trying to keep his balance and he looks just like a surfer.
It's getting harder and harder to get any good pictures of him because he won't hold still! He is not a hip sitter and the second I put him on mine, he is trying to get down.
Bode does not like to be cuddled or basically held at all. When Clint gets home from work he likes to play with Bode, but Bode likes to keep on doing what he was doing ....so Clint jokes Bode's schedule is just so busy, he doesn't have time for us. I have heard stories of Clint's energetic childhood {to say the least,} and I am worried Bode will be just like his dad. The kid is non stop until nap time and he just crashes.
He is starting to get two front teeth coming through and it looks like there is going to be a huge gap between them! I am excited for them to come through though. I hope they are as cute as his two little bottom teeth.
I like the picture above because it shows all his fat rolls. :)
He's been holding his bottle by himself for a few months now, so we never get to cuddle with him or hold him! He's sleeping all through the night basically every night but last week two nights he woke around midnight and Clint and I were still awake and fought over who got to feed him! That is the only time he falls asleep right on your chest.
A few more things:
He LOVES to sit in the front yard and watch cars go by.
For breakfast I give him a banana, peel and all, and he eats the whole thing.
He still feeds Gunner.
He would rather play than nap.
He loves drinking water from a sippy. (The Dr. told me today no water, just formula. Is that normal?)
He loves Zucchini bread.
He loves eating raw yellow squash.
He fake smiles at everything.
That's all I can think of! Our baby boy is just growing so fast.

I love the new blog decor!! Green is my favorite. Bode couldn't be any cuter. He needs to show Darci some of his moves.
That seems really weird that he would tell you no water at 9 months. I can understand that at 1-6 months, but 9 months? Weird...
So fun to hear what Bode is up to. I have to laugh at your dog bowl troubles. It is a daily struggle in our house too!
I have never heard of not giving a baby water.... unless he was drinking so much that it was making him full. Griffin drinks water throughout the day, especially now with the heat.
He even eats the peel of a banana?! Yuck! Haha. I've never heard of the no water thing... Especially at 9 months. I started giving Kaylan sippies with water around 5 or 6 months. Weird!
Anyway, he's way cute!
He doesn't eat the peel! haha. He peels it back and just eats the banana.
That's too cute!!! He's getting so big and is so adorable! I completely understand the Go, go, go till all at once they crash! Mine is exactly the same way, tons and tons of energy! It keeps you busy but boy do we sleep well! :)
Glad to hear you guys are doing well!
He sounds EXACTLY like Jack. From the eating the dog food to the not wanting to be held.
I like the picture of you holding him like a football. That is how we HAVE to hold Jack because he jumps/ lunges if he's on our hip. Oh and cute glasses. As always, Bode's adorable. Our dr with Anna always wanted us to feed Anna formula instead of water because if they're thirsty he would rather the baby get nutrients instead of just water. I don't know...that's what he said but I don't think plain water's going to hurt hum. Sorry for writing a novel.
he is just too precious... back in the day they said to give babies water to keep their tummies satisfied, and most of us came through ok :) jorel also likes all our animal food! anyway, so cute!
