We had a great holiday season this year! It was the best one yet. My mom called on Christmas Eve to ask if they could spend Christmas morning with us before we headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa B’s house. I was so excited to have them over! We had yummy breakfast casserole and a lovely drink they heard of somewhere. We mixed egg nog with orange juice. It was delicious. Before they headed over we let Bode open a few presents from Santa. It was basically me opening them up because he had no clue what was going on, but he had a great time playing with them!
Bode stole this piece of breakfast casserole from my mom’s plate and ate the whole piece! We tried feeding him the casserole a few times before this and he wouldn’t have it. He’s so funny.
He was very pleased with himself after he ate the whole thing. These below pictures are Bode and I opening all his presents. He has been playing with all the toys since Christmas. The small soccer ball was a big hit! He’s been walking around saying “BA BA” all day long since.
We went over to my grandparent’s house for Dinner and it was so good. We all got carried away doing a puzzle and the 3:00 meal ended up being a 5:00 meal. Kevin, Chris and the boys came over while we were getting ready to eat and since they had already eaten they helped do the puzzle. It was a hard!
After we were all full of yummy potato salad and hogies made of ham and turkey we went over to Ali and Grant’s house. (Clint’s sister and brother in law.) My nephew Drextin got a nintendo DS for Christmas and so he was playing that the whole time! To see more pictures of Drextin, click on this link! www.photobylori.blogspot.com
He also had this toy that blew up balls with air and Bode had fun playing with that.
Clint got William Joseph boots and waders and a fish pond fanny pack from santa (fly fishing gear, of course.) I got a kitchenaid mixer along with an awesome apron (as seen in the above pics)! We also both got a really nice picture of Jesus and a family preparedness stove that has 3 different ways to work it! We were spoiled this year. I hope everyone else had a great Christmas too!
