Sock Bun Curls

Thanks again pinterest.

Tutorial Here

I cut off the bottom of a sock. It was Clint’s old sock. {Thanks love.}

Rolled it up like so:

Put my hair in a pony tail up high on my head.. then wrapped the hair around the sock. I kind of like the bun. It stays tight and secure with no extra bobby pins or anything.

This is what it looks like when you take the bun out. I didn’t have this in all night either. I took a shower at night.. and when I woke up my hair was slightly damp still and I put the bun in. I took it out around 3 or 4pm. Be careful when taking out the pony tail holder as to not pull out the curl.

Voila! Sock bun curls. This is with NO extra fiddling around with it. No hair spray, no nothing.

After I took these pictures I did put some Moroccan Oil in it to smooth some of the frizz.. and put some hair spray in.

I totally tried this on Darci. I got it in her hair and the bun looked so dang cute. I was so excited to see the finished result, but Miss Darci pulled it out! So, I will have to try it again. I love it!

I am so excited to try this too! My hair is getting so long and it doesn't hold a curl well at all... maybe this will work!

I did this the other day. Shhh, Kyle doesn't know I ruined a pair of his socks. I do have to say your curls turned out better then mine!

I want to try this, but for some reason I'm not understanding how to roll the hair around the sock. I may have to look up a more detailed tutorial on it. lol Like Sock Curls for Dummies... haha! Your hair looked gorgeous like this!
