Temple Square

We braved the cold to go and see the beautiful lights at temple square. We met up with Clint’s brother Andy, his wife Jodi and their cute family. Bode was Mr. Grumpy/whiney pants the entire time! Owen on the other hand was a little angel. I thought it’d be the exact opposite. Who knew!

Here is the crew walking ahead of me and Owen. You can see the top of the temple with the Statue of Moroni and I thought that was pretty cool.  I was dying because we were trying to be fast and I was trying to take pictures and stroll Owen at the same time.. AHH!

Here is the best baby ever. He didn’t seem to mind the cold!

The lights were amazing. The second year Clint and I were married, we got a hotel downtown around Christmas time. We walked over to see the lights and that’s the last time I have seen them.

Bode was excited to see water. That’s about the only thing he was excited about.

Here are the other Romney kids. Darci and Drew were having fun with Bode’s stroller until he threw a fit. I think they were looking at him break down and wondering what the big deal was! Brooklyn was all smiles all night. :)

Andy got a pretty decent family picture of us all. It wasn’t an easy task.. well it never is. Thanks Andy!

The temple is so pretty.

I had to get a picture of this fun little nativity.

It was getting pretttttty freezing cold by this point and Bode had lost it. Clint was trying to console him.

The reflections on the water were so cool.

Darci and Drew were looking out into the water.. and you can barely see Bode’s little beanie and nose. :)

Had to get some shots with me and my boys.

We stopped inside the visitor’s center and it was nice to warm up for a little bit.

Andy was playing games with Brooklyn and it was pretty cute. Clint had to warm Bode up one last time before heading out again! By this point we were basically running back to the cars. Well, maybe not running but we were all done.

I just love seeing the temple and it’s so much cooler all lit up. I’m glad we braved the cold to see it.

We stopped to eat dinner and Bode was happy as can be after that. :)

Thanks Romney Fam for hanging out with us!! Maybe next time we get together it will be somewhere warm.
