Right as our little holiday weekend started Bode got sick. We decided that there wasn’t much to do with a kid who was throwing up. We were going to try and go camping before the sickness came, so I thought hey! Why not go camping in the house. Bode loved it! He helped Clint set up the tent in the living room and we all plopped in and watched a movie.
As the night was approaching Clint and I were thinking what the heck were we going to do once Bode fell asleep? The living room is where we hang out once the kiddos are in bed. We decided we didn’t want to be trapped up in the bedroom from 8pm on – so Clint took down the tent and we set it up in Bode’s room. He laid in it for a few minutes at bed time and decided he wanted to go in his bed. It was kind of a bust for “camping” but we had fun anyway! I was really dreading the possibility of cleaning up throw up in the tent anyway.
Owen loved having some new scenery and something to get into.

Owen was getting into EVERYTHING when we were trying to set it all up. I had to put him in his stander to be trapped.
That didn’t last long and before I knew he was on his way up the stairs.

Bode stuffed all of the tent compartments with dinosaurs. What else would he put in there?
