This year I wanted him to have that party! I asked him what he wanted to do for it and his ideas changed a few different times. The only idea that really stuck was an Indian themed party. It really came out of nowhere and I was surprised! I went on pinterest and the first Native American idea I came across was PVC bow and arrows. I showed Clint the website and asked him if he thought he could make them. He said yes and I was so excited. Clint did such a good job making all these bows and arrows. The kids loved them so much! He made a few of them about a week or so before the party and the boys and their friends played with those things almost everyday! I made the little vests out of grocery bags, and the headbands were pretty simple, too. Face paint is a must and we had a lot of fun with that. Clint did Bode's face paint and it was so detailed! I kept things easy and just did a few lines and dots here and there. We didn't actually learn much about Native Americans during this party. Clint did set up cardboard targets and told the boys that the tribe had to go hunting for their food. They went across the yard and shot at every target they saw. I told the boys I needed a picture and Clint snuck up from behind them with his target covering him, a zombie mind you. It was so funny! It took the boys a while to realize what was going on and then they all tried to shoot him with their arrows. They ended up tackling him to the ground.
We did pizza, cake, presents and that is about it.
Bode loved his party. It was so much fun!
