Parachuting

My sister Kelli and her family were in town last July. Aaron had a jump that was open to the public, so we went! The kids love watching uncle Aaron jump. It's so hard to plan out the timing of them. Aaron never knows when exactly they are leaving, and it's kind of chaotic. We had about an hour drive this time to make it and Kelli kept texting Aaron trying to see when we should leave. We actually postponed leaving because we thought we would wait and wait once we got there. Getting all the kids ready and piled in the car and on the road is no easy task. By the time we got the go ahead to leave, we actually missed Aaron's jump! I think we saw it from the side of the road, though. It was ok though because once we got there, there were quite a few more to see. It was hot and the kids were kind of cranky. They loved going to get ice cold water, but after so much they were done. We didn't stay too long, but I always think it's so cool to watch!

We are so thankful for the service of these brave men and women!
